The Kids Over the Weekend

Aidan and Rowan got Mike a beard trimmer for his birthday.

Aidan encouraged his little sister to crawl and shake her rattle.

He loves her so much. All he wants to do is kiss and hug her.

Little Man did the vacuuming in the kitchen on saturday morning! He's a wonderful helper!

The kid got 3 hits. I was so proud of him. I saw adults unable to hit the ball and this kid got 3 of them!!

Mike's Birthday and Rowan Exercising

I put her on her "tummy time" mat this afternoon so she could exercise her neck muscles and practice her crawl.

She started to move her head around and tried to lift it up...

Drooled on the pillow a bit...

Then lifted her head up!

She even gripped the little purple toy.

Mike and I took her to the Dr.'s today and she's 8 pounds 2 oz.! She gained 1lb in 8 days! She's quite the hungry girl :)

And she's finally starting to fit into some of her clothes.

Daddy is the soother and this is last night the two of them were watching the White Sox game.

This was the cake before all of the candles...beautiful!

Then I lit all 38 candles (37 plus one to grow on) and the whole top of the cake melted! Still tasted good though :)

We wish little man could've celebrated with us, but we will do this again on saturday with all of us :o)
